Jewish Canon primarily upholds first five books of the Christian bible. The Jews incline heavily on the fundamental aspect of sanctity in life, in spite of life, being a process of development. It is always something good. However, at a certain extent, this is a major setback of Judaism as well as the Muslims, whom some of if its population in Jerusalem, once share these common laws. Though, unlike Judaism, Muslims acknowledge Christ as the Son of God. The Israelites and the Palestinians are classic examples of how two religious and/or social groups, although sharing the same Law of Moses, and at the same time acknowledge Abraham, are caught up in an ever-festering unrest.
Like any progress and development, spiritual stability is also derived through a process. Had it not for this process of maturity our religious pioneers would not have appreciated the effectiveness of the Law of Moses and its applicability in times where barbaric behavior called for utmost discipline. The same also applies with spiritual growth in the advent of Christianity. Christ message on earth is likewise a conduit of proper living which the Books of Laws teach with emphasis on love-both for God and fellow men. And speaking of laws, they always emanate from love of peace and order.
The Jews may hold the “firstly rights” on godliness, if you will. But they should know that there is more beyond the beginnings in accomplishing everlasting peace. “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” may have served well in the Dark Ages. But if we read and look closer, the Law of Moses and Moses himself knew they were also guilty of violating God’s commandment http://bible.cc/exodus/34-1.htm (Exodus 34:1) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+32%3A27-28&version=KJV. Since the Ten Commandments pronounces pro-life advocacy-“Thou shall not kill.”
From a primitively hurting law come retaliation, especially in this world where sovereignty is the overture of every nation. I am not saying to be sovereign is wrong. But what is, is the settlement with an undeveloped, or better yet, unlawful precepts from the point of view of the sixth commandment. I know we all know this commandment. People would have an entire different perspective when they start to realize the mediocrity and obsoleteness of certain laws as we progress in this book.
Let me tell you a story about one of the travels I have had in the past. I met a young adult Israeli, a Jew, boarded on the Southwest Chief Amtrak train to Chicago to go to New York, NY. I took the most of our acquaintance by talking to her about certain stimulating issues about eventualities in her side of the world, from a young adult’s perspective. One of which is the bloodshed in her country. Her reaction was so typical of what we regularly hear in the news. I told her that country Israel, is all over in the Christian bible and I asked her that if she knows that killing is one of her nation’s agenda. She said that the Israelis just defend themselves in war with the Palestinians. I always wanted her to feel that I am being objective with her about my questions and comments. We had a nice time together and she even wrote my name in her native alphabet and some other words as well. Then eventually, we had to part ways.
Does anyone ever heard of the government, which by the people, of the people and for the people? Of course we all do. What the government does the people would do too. However, there is one favorite verse I like which is, “All things work together for good to them who love God,” because life is a continuing graceful process of improvement.
Even the animal kingdom which is suppose to be lower than humans also have this innate reaction to strive for satisfaction, survival, and happiness to a point of killing. How much more the human race. It may seem too blunt to say but the equation is quite accurate. Life of killing is like a moment spent struggling for survival, let alone defending sovereignty-even when the situation is killing for self-defense. May it be from ferocious animals, a raging sociopath, or men in battle.
Conflict is even more pronounced when it is among religious governments, what the soul upholds the body carries out. Remember the “spirit-filled cup” illustration earlier? The more filled the more mature one gets. I just intend and wish that this book be a vehicle for everyone to have the true “spirit-filled cup.”
We already know and felt the pain and suffering from the time of Cain and Abel up to this day and age. How long shall men have to live the vicious cycle of affliction? When in fact, we all know certain things beget the same-an eye for an eye.
Word to the Wise: The spirit works through men and men grow and develop through the times. Christ is the epitome of the perfection of the Spirit, as He lived a life only to show love and respect as manifested by His unyielding obedience even unto the Cross. Has anyone seen Christians nowadays fight at such a magnitude like the Israelis and Palestinians? We can not see anything like it because the rest acknowledge and enjoy the teaching of love by Jesus Christ! Although these groups which advance Christianity are also in the process of perfection, but, they (Christians) take comfort in peace and love, because they uphold the ways of Christ. I am positively certain that Israel’s current situation is far from its claims of being the Promised Land. Unless rivalry is its definition of “milk and honey or everlasting life.”
As much as we were taught how to speak, eat, and guided with our steps when we were still young, so did the purpose of the Christ to a level of spiritual awakening.
From me to a Jew: He has come from your own. You truly consummated and fulfilled the offering of Christ to all men to teach everlasting love and absolute submission onto crucifixion. Nonetheless, do not be guilty of your own people having killed who has been identified and prophesied to be the Messiah at that. Plain stupidity is befalling you to sin, if you do not consider your great participation in His Messianic life. As we go along with this book, you will find out more about the absolute greatness and holiness of Christ in the most practical manner-in ways He would like men to conduct our daily business. And by knowing Him and acknowledging Him shall serve a great upturn in the conditions of the land-as love will find its way in your people and your neighbors.
You emulate people like Moses and King David for example, who imparted laws which guided men to holiness. Like Moses and David, Christ also upholds good living and more. People like you and me needed someone to teach and show us ways we should go, as Moses did with the law, so does Christ towards the ultimate flow of life.
Christ was born to show you and the rest of the world how to love in terms of a universal approach by maintaining spiritual consciousness while conducting livelihood in practical business and commerce. He was neither a heretic nor a false prophet. He is a person of God whose Spirit is God and therefore making Him one with God-the Son of God. Christ was there with the Jews to show that there is more to life than merely exchanging commodities for money. There is more to life than acquiring wealth. There is more to be aware of in life than selfishness, war and killing.
Remember, acknowledging Christ doesn’t mean you have to give up your religion or the Torah or replace Yahweh. You have the boldness to claim you are the “chosen people”- the children of God. Should we withhold such a major claim of boldness from a man who gave His life in showing how we can truly become children of God? Towards the end of this book, you shall find out why His claims are as true and correct as our Messiah. Unless you yourselves accept your very own Christ, shall you always likewise experience your very own destruction-guaranteed-as you already have been experiencing. This is what is happening in the controversial, historic “Holy Land.”
It is imperative in the lives of men to accept Jesus Christ as the son of God-our Savior. Again, it is not giving up one’s faith or religion when you accept Christ. It is learning true love-giving to and accepting from one another love and graciously live, sustaining it. Please, take solace in the words of my book. The peace and prosperity of the entire world depend on the outcome of harmony you would have in your land with your fellowmen. Otherwise, the earth shall remain vicious, like you have been in constant battle.
Your Strength: Being where God’s teachings begun.
Your Weakness: Not knowing God’s purpose in life.
